WHO WE ARE
Southwest Bookkeeping is small independent bookkeeping and tax preparation firm.
It is not a chartered accounting firm. We would be pleased to work with you and your CPA by providing regular bookkeeping and business services at a very competitive rate.
Southwest is not a three-piece suit and tie type company. It is a small business owner talking to you – another small business owner.
And while the work is serious and precise, there is a sense of humor in our business.
About Dave
Education is always a good foundation, and Dave is academically grounded in the BSc. Animal Science program at the University of Guelph as a mature student. Several community college courses built on that foundation and a natural aptitude in math and numbers.
There is no substitute for experience. Dave brings several years of working in business and as a staff accountant at chartered accounting firms before deciding to start his own small bookkeeping company – an entrepreneur just like you.
All work and no play is rarely wise either. Over the years, Dave has held various director positions on the church, benevolent, and artboards. There is a long family history in the music. Sunday afternoons outside the tax season, you will find football on the TV – "Go Packers!".
